Build your agent

Paste your website address. Ovebot reads your pages, products and policies and trains an assistant on your actual business, not a generic FAQ bot. About 60 seconds, no credit card.

STEP 02

Install the plugin

Search “Ovebot” in your WordPress admin, upload the module in PrestaShop or OpenCart, or have your host add it on Magento. A few clicks and the time it takes to pour a coffee.

STEP 03

Connect your account, go live

Open the plugin inside your store admin, click Connect, sign in to Ovebot, approve. That is the whole procedure; you are dropped back into your admin and the chat bubble is live on the storefront. Nothing to copy, nothing to paste.

Do the plugins cost anything?

No, and they never will. The WordPress plugin and the OpenCart extension are free downloads from the official directories, and the PrestaShop and Magento modules are free on our public GitHub. You pay for your Ovebot plan; the integration itself is part of the product, on every tier including the entry plan.

Do I need an Ovebot account before I install?

Yes. The plugin is the delivery mechanism; the intelligence lives in your Ovebot workspace. Create the agent first (the free demo builds one from your website address in about 60 seconds), then install the plugin and click Connect: you sign in to your Ovebot account over OAuth and the plugin links itself. There is no key to copy.

Will it slow my website down?

No. The widget script loads asynchronously, after your page content, and comes from a global CDN, so it never blocks rendering. Your page paints first and the chat bubble shows up a fraction of a second later. Core Web Vitals stay exactly where they were.

Will it work with my theme?

Yes. The plugins use the standard hooks every platform gives its extensions, so they don’t care whether you run a block theme, a classic theme, Elementor, Divi, a default OpenCart template or a fully bespoke build. If your theme can render a footer, it can render Ovebot.

When is the Shopify app ready?

It is in active development and has to clear the official Shopify App Store review, so we won’t promise a date we can’t hold. In the meantime Shopify merchants can run the complete assistant today with the universal snippet, and everyone on the waiting list gets the app the day it goes live.

Can I remove it again?

Immediately. Hide the widget with the switch in the plugin settings, or deactivate the plugin. Either way your storefront is clean afterwards: no leftovers, no orphaned script in the theme.

Is it GDPR compliant?

Yes. Conversations are stored in European data centres, personal identifiers are filtered out before anything reaches the language model, and visitors can download or delete their own chat at any time. The plugin adds no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.

Can I run it on several stores?

Yes. Install the plugin on as many sites as you like and point each one at its own agent. Every store gets its own knowledge base, its own tone of voice and its own analytics, all managed from one Ovebot account.

Which PrestaShop versions does the module support?

All the ones you are realistically running: PrestaShop 1.7.8 and later in the 1.7 line, the whole 8.x line and the whole 9.x line, on PHP 7.1 to 8.4. It is a single download that adapts to the version it finds, so your store keeps the same assistant before and after a major upgrade. The source is public on our GitHub, under the Academic Free License 3.0.

Which Magento versions does the module support?

Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce from 2.3.0 to 2.4.8, including the 2.4.8 patch releases, on whatever PHP your Magento release requires (7.1 or later). The module only uses APIs that exist since 2.3.0, so every release runs the same code. It works with Luma, Blank and the themes built on them, and with both the built-in full page cache and Varnish. Because Magento 2.4 has no admin screen for installing modules, you copy it into app/code and enable it with the standard bin/magento commands, a few minutes over SSH. The source is public on our GitHub, under the Academic Free License 3.0.
